Stage 4
This project's direction was to map loss. I chose the subject of my dad's cancer from 2008 to the present. Using hospital scans of his liver from before and after surgery, I was able to map the liver removal and growth. I layered paper on top of each other and cut away where his liver was removed, quite similar to how the surgeons themselves did.
